Nothing is worse than getting a new CDROM and wondering
how it is supposed to work. ZMaster understands this
and has created several .DOC files to assist you. But
who wants to read them in the beginning, so we created
this help file to get you up and running now--
Window '95 (tm) users - Install CPIC32.EXE (32 bit version)
Windows 3.x (tm) - Install CPIC.EXE (16 bit version)
====================
Windows (tm) Users:
====================
* Choose video resolution in WINDOWS setup, Default should work
which is 640x480x16m - See SETUPTIP.DOC if you wish to change
the video resolution and do not know how to in WINDOWS (tm).
* Adjust the brightness on your monitor to get the best
picture. Everybody has their own preferences. You may want
adjust the brightness.
1) To view images click on either the 16 or 32 version of
CompuPic (tm) in the root directory of this CDROM -
CPIC.EXE = 16 bit (Win 3.x Users)
CPIC32.EXE = 32 bit (Win '95 Users)
It will auto detect & install. As long as this
CDROM is in the drive, this software will will remain
fully operational with no restrictions. Follow on screen
instructions. However, this program is shareware and can
registered to serve your other needs that are NOT related
to our CDROM line of products.
View one of these 3 directories - Match the directory to your
video card resolution (default is 640x480).
Tip: Drag mouse and highlight several images, click show, or click
pix one by one--Try the + and the - key to enlarge/shrink image.
CompuPic(tm) is a full graphical toolbox. Make screen-savers
and wallpaper. There is so much to do with CompuPic, that you
should be kept quite busy with all this POWER at your
fingertips. You can even ADD your own WAV/MOD sound files!
Once a picture is loaded, you will have another options bar
right above the picture, this is where you have all your
graphical toolbox to alter the photo. Remember, the images
from the CD have a read only attribute set, you will have
to copy them from CD to hard drive and remove that before
it will save correctly.
You must have your own MPEG player, this is something that is
not issued on a CDROM. If your video card is new (Aug 96) or
later you should not have problems. If your a WINDOWS (tm) user
go to accessories, and multimedia, and fire off one of those
players, or check the software that came with your video card.
